Digital X-rays: walk-in.
Ultrasound (sonograms): abdominal, renal, pelvic, bladder, obstetric, thyroid, parathyroid, neck, scrotal, inguinal and transvaginal. Most are walk-in.
Digital mammography (mammogram): with or without an appointment.
Breast ultrasound (sono-mammography): walk-in.
Bone density (DXA / DEXA scan): walk-in.
Prostate ultrasound (transrectal): by appointment.
Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound: by appointment.
Vascular (Doppler) studies: by appointment, with your health plan's authorization.
We do not offer CT, MRI, 3D mammography (tomosynthesis) or sonohysterography.

What to bring
Your medical order, your health plan card and a photo ID.
Preparation
It depends on the study your doctor ordered. Abdominal ultrasound: if you have a gallbladder, do not eat or drink anything from 9:00 PM the night before until your study; if you don't have a gallbladder, you don't need to fast. You may take your medicines with a little water. Prostate ultrasound requires special preparation; we will explain it when we schedule your appointment. For other studies, call us at (787) 269-2250.
Results
You receive your images the same day. Most results are ready in about 24 hours; mammography, breast ultrasound and MSK results take about a week. We email the result to you and to your doctor, with a QR code and a PIN to view your images and result online.
Health plans and payment
We accept MCS, MCS Classic Care, SSS (Triple-S), SSS Vital, SSS Advantage, MMM, MMM Vital, MAPFRE, Auxilio Salud Plus, Medicare and Centro Comprensivo del Cáncer. We do not accept First Medical or First Medical Vital. We also accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, ATH Móvil and tap to pay.

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; closed Saturday and Sunday. Holidays: closed November 26 and 27, and from December 24 to January 6; we reopen Thursday, January 7. Wheelchair-accessible entrance and bathroom. Our building has no parking of its own. Right next door there are two private parking lots (paid per day), and across the street an office building offers hourly public parking.

How long does a visit take?
It depends on how many studies you have, which studies they are and how busy the day is. To make your visit faster, send us your medical order, health plan card and photo ID before you come, so we can start verifying your health plan ahead of time.
